Villa arched-window glass self-cleaning

Large European-style arched windows: after coating, rain sheets off without beads or water marks.

Glass typeLarge arched exterior windows
ScopeMain facade windows
MethodLadder access · spray/wipe application
ProductFeibo glass self-cleaning coating
Background

The problem

Large, high arched windows that could only be cleaned from ladders. After rain the glass was covered in droplets and water marks, spoiling the look of the house.

Scope of work

What we did

  1. Site survey to confirm glass type and access plan
  2. Specialist cleaning to remove all residue
  3. Window-by-window application at height, keeping the film even and fully transparent
  4. Spray test after curing to confirm the hydrophilic film
Results

Results and value

Water contact angle dropped sharply: in the spray test the coated area sheets evenly while the uncoated area forms dense droplets — the difference is obvious at a glance. Rain now carries dust away, cutting ladder cleaning.
