Background

The problem

A rooftop sunroom whose sloped glass sits fully exposed outdoors: rain marks and dust build-up were obvious, and cleaning on the roof was inconvenient and risky.

Scope of work

What we did

  1. Surveyed glass condition and site conditions; small-area adhesion and effect test
  2. Deep-cleaned the glass with neutral detergent to remove dust, oil and water marks
  3. Spray-applied the coating on all exterior glass once fully dry — even, transparent film
  4. Ambient cure, then immediate side-by-side comparison
Results

Results and value

The coated area forms a super-hydrophilic film: rain spreads into a sheet and carries dirt off. Compared with the uncoated area the coated glass is visibly clearer, and the owner can cut manual rooftop cleaning dramatically.
