Background

The problem

Curtain walls and entrance glass are a building’s face, yet they collect dust and water marks outdoors. Gondola or lift cleaning is expensive and risky, and the glass is dirty again soon after.

Scope of work

What we did

  1. Surveyed glass type, mounting and access conditions
  2. Zoned application plan with a small test area first
  3. Specialist cleaning and spray application from lift/gondola
  4. Ambient cure, uniformity check and hand-over
Results

Results and value

The glass now has a super-hydrophilic, anti-static surface: dust does not cling and rain keeps it clear. Around 3/4 of high-level manual cleanings can be eliminated each year, cutting cost and risk.
