Aluminium-panel curtain wall self-cleaning coating
Aluminium facades that streaked and yellowed after rain now self-clean, with far fewer gondola cleanings.
The problem
Aluminium curtain walls sit in dust, acid rain and exhaust; drying rain leaves limescale streaks and large areas blacken and yellow. Gondola cleaning is costly and risky, and pressure or acid washing damages the panel coating.

- Surveyed panel material and soiling type
- Local sample spray with comparison test
- Specialist cleaning and surface preparation
- Zoned spray application with even film thickness
- Acceptance after cure, checking visual uniformity
Results and value
Rain now sheets across the panels and carries dirt away instead of leaving streaks. High-level cleaning and gondola risk drop, and the panel coating lasts longer.
